Alexander Mattison Totals 124 Yards And A Touchdown

Fantasy managers that held onto Minnesota Vikings running back Alexander Mattison after the return of Dalvin Cook were rewarded once again with a workhorse-like performance in Week 13. Although he rarely sees the field when Cook is healthy, there is no significant drop-off when Mattison is called upon to carry the load. Mattison touched the ball 25 times in the game for a total of 124 yards and a rushing touchdown in the 29-27 loss to the Detroit Lions. Mattison is averaging 23.6 PPR points as the starting running back, a number that trails only Derrick Henry and Jonathan Taylor on a per-game basis. As long as Cook is out, Mattison will continue to be an elite running back option.
