Chicago Blackhawks winger Alex DeBrincat secured a winning start for interim head coach Derek King on Sunday by scoring early in overtime against Nashville. He made it 2-1 with 37 seconds played in the extra frame, netting his seventh goal of the season. DeBrincat was held to just two shots in the game, but he did hand out three hits and registered one block in over 21 minutes of ice time. The Blackhawks have had an awful start to the season and thus DeBrincat sits on just eight points despite his seven goals and carries a minus-seven rating. However, things should improve under a new coach and the start was certainly encouraging. --Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
