Edmonton Oilers forward Zach Kassian (concussion protocol) has been listed as day-to-day and remains questionable for his team's season opener versus the Canucks on Wednesday. Kassian sustained the head injury in a fight in a preseason game last week and had been skating on the Oilers' third line for much of training camp. The 30-year-old power forward scored 15 goals in consecutive seasons before regressing to a five-point (in 27 games) campaign in 2020-2021. Kassian has been a valuable depth player in fantasy formats rewarding physical play over the years but much of his value is tied to his exposure to superstar center Connor McDavid. Expect Colton Sceviour to make his Oilers debut in Kassian's place should the latter not get the green light.--Chase Davis - RotoBallerRead More News
