Tyrod Taylor Throws For 291 Yards, Two Touchdowns
Tyrod Taylor completed 21 of 33 pass attempts for 291 yards and two touchdowns, adding 40 yards on the ground in an impressive 37-21 win over the Jaguars. Taylor fired touchdown passes to Danny Amendola and David Johnson while also looking downfield often for a healthy 8.8 yards per attempt. The veteran signal-caller proved he can take advantage of the right matchup, as he still has the ability to attack a defense with both his arm and legs. No one should expect QB1 numbers out of Taylor- though he can certainly be a solid QB2 for managers in need of a second signal-caller heading into Week 2. Taylor can be started in 2QB formats in Week 2 against the Browns, who allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks.
