Chicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (groin) exited Wednesday's game versus the Kansas City Royals for precautionary reasons, according to the White Sox. Jimenez was removed from the game with right groin tightness during the ninth inning for pinch-hitter Gavin Sheets. It appears as if the White Sox were just playing it safe, and the 24-year-old seems to have avoided anything major. The slugger went 0-for-3 in just his third game back from a torn pectoral.
