The Cleveland Indians selected college hurler Gavin Williams with the 23rd overall selection in the 2021 amateur draft. The 21-year-old right-hander was ranked by Rotoballer as the 14th-best talent available so he represents great value for Cleveland. He has the ability to hit triple digits with his heater and he backs it up with three other offerings — including an above-average curveball. His command and control can slip at times but tall pitchers — Williams stands 6-foot-6 — can take longer to develop average-or-better control of their long limbs. He infuses some additional pitching talent into a system that is heavier on bats.--Marc Hulet - RotoBallerRead More News
