Tommy Hunter Works Clean Eighth Vs Washington
Tommy Hunter pitched a clean eighth inning with one strikeout to earn a hold vs the Nationals Wednesday. Hunter was summoned to protect a one-run lead in the eighth inning which suggests he's commandeered the setup role from Hector Neris who faltered in his first two chances after being demoted from the closer role. Given Neris's struggles, Hunter seems like the speculative saves source if Brandon Workman and his 10-plus percent walk rate should falter. Hunter should be owned in leagues that reward holds and is a good add in 15-plus team rotisserie leagues.
