The 41-year-old Francisco Trinaldo pulled out a huge knockout victory over Jai Herbert. A minute and 30 seconds into the third round, Trinaldo landed the blow that dropped Herbert. Controversy arose as many believed the bout should have been stopped at that point. Commentator and former UFC fighter Dan Hardy stated his dismay with referee Herb Dean for allowing the bout to continue. Trinaldo landed 30 significant strikes and went 2-for-3 on takedowns. The Brazilian looked great against the younger, former Cage Warriors champion. Trinaldo is always an interesting fighter to start, depending on his price tag at DraftKings.--Matt Bricker
