Tecia Torres, also known as the Tiny Tornado, who was riding a four-fight losing streak, turned it around with a big decision win over a young, upcoming talent in Brianna Van Buren on Saturday. Van Buren tried to keep Torres in her grasp for most of the round, but Torres was able to reel off some nice kicks, showing her impressive striking game. The contest's final two frames were a display of the Torres we were used to landing a variety of strikes. When it was all said and done, Torres walked away with three 30-27 scorecards. With someone as experienced as Torres, a win like this may be all she needs to turn the corner.--Matt Bricker
