Mitchell Marner had two goals and recorded five points in the Toronto Maple Leafs' 8-6 win over the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday. The speedy winger now has an eye-popping 17 points in his last eight games. Fellow winger Zach Hyman added three helpers for his second straight game with three points. Center John Tavares, who’s been fairly quiet lately, had a goal and two assists in the victory. Previously, he had just one point in his last four games. On the blue line, Tyson Barrie had a goal and an assist. He now has five points in his last six games. It wasn’t a great game for goaltender Frederik Andersen, who was just good enough to win. He stopped 34 of 40 shots against Carolina.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
