Toronto Maple Leafs forward John Tavares picked up two goals and an assist Tuesday night as Toronto topped Vancouver 4-1. Tavares had been in a bit of a cold streak, having no points in each of his last three games, but made up for lost time quickly with a season-high three points. Typically a reliable point producer, Tavares has only two pointless streaks this season longer than two games, but both have come in the last month. That should be viewed as nothing more than random variation though as Tavares has seen his shots per game and time on ice per game averages rise in the three weeks since Sheldon Keefe took over as head coach.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
