FanDuel TNF DFS Lineup Picks: Daily Fantasy Football for Week 12

Austyn Varney highlights the top FanDuel NFL DFS lineup picks for Thursday Night Football for Week 12 of the 2019 season, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building TNF daily fantasy rosters.

It's already week 12! Time flies when you're having fun and this has been an eventful football season to say the least. We have another solid Sunday upcoming, but we'll kick things off with a Thursday match-up between the Colts and Texans. T.Y Hilton and Jordan Wilkins are both questionable and play a big role in how this slate plays out.

In this article, I will be providing you with daily fantasy football picks on FanDuel for Thursday Night Football on November 21st, 2019 (Week 12). These lineups can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel.

If you have any questions you can follow me on Twitter @VarneyDFS and fire away. Now let's break this slate down and make some cash. Good luck RotoBallers!

DFS Quarterbacks - Week 12 Picks

Deshaun Watson - HOU (FanDuel $16,000 / DraftKings $11,600)

Watson and Brissett are the two most expensive options on the slate and rightfully so. These offenses go as their QB’s go. Both of these quarterbacks have some pros and cons in this match-up. Watson has the worse match-up, but he’s a better quarterback and he surely has more weapons. He also puts up more numbers, as Brissett and the Colts will rely on the running game and open up throws with it. Deshaun Watson is my favorite QB play and you should have exposure to a QB in every lineup. Watson has also been running the ball more and I could see him scrambling in this game for an extra few fantasy points. I wouldn’t play a QB at captain, but there’s always a chance the QB throws a touchdown to four different guys.

Jacoby Brissett - IND (FanDuel $15,000 / DraftKings $10,400)

Brissett has a better match-up on paper than Watson does. The Texans rank in the bottom six against the pass and Houston is one of the few places in the country where good throwing weather is still normal in this month. If Hilton plays, I like Brissett a lot more. Hilton opens the field up for Brissett and it could lead to a much bigger game. If Hilton is out, I’ll likely limit my Colts exposure overall. Houston is a four-point favorite in this game, but anyone can win this.

DFS Running Backs - Week 12 Picks

Carlos Hyde - HOU (FanDuel $13,000 / DraftKings $7,000)

The Colts are a pretty strong team against the run, but Houston is expected to win this game and that means having a lead. The Texans have given Hyde some huge volume in recent weeks, but always gets double-digit carries no matter what. He’s not the most explosive runner, but he could very well find the end zone and run for 50-60 yards. With the Colts in an expected RBBC, Hyde is the back worth trusting most.

Jonathan Williams - IND (FanDuel $12,500 / DraftKings $5,600)

It’s either going to be the Williams and Williams show or just the Williams show. With Marlon Mack out indefinitely with a broken hand, these backup RB’s will need to step up. Wilkins is currently questionable, and these two will share carries if he plays. Williams ran for 116 yards on 13 carries against the Jags a week ago, so I’ll lean on him to get some more of the volume. Jordan Wilkins is cheap and a great GPP play as he’s shown us how capable he is in the past as well.

Duke Johnson - HOU (FanDuel $10,500 / DraftKings $5,000)

Duke Johnson is always worth noting on a small slate. His receiving upside gives him a huge ceiling and he’s also seen six and seven carries in each of the last two games. Johnson has been targeted 17 times in the last four weeks and has an 80% catch rate. If the Texans struggle to run the ball against the stout Colts defensive line, Johnson will benefit most. I love him in tournaments and you can pair him with Watson.

DFS Wide Receivers - Week 10 Picks

DeAndre Hopkins - HOU (FanDuel $14,500 / DraftKings $11,000)

Hopkins now has between 11 and 13 targets in five straight games. Hopkins has been consistently producing, but he just can’t seem to find the big game. He’s only been over 100 yards with a touchdown twice all season long. The Colts can be taken advantage of through the air and it makes Hopkins my favorite captain. He can easily catch two touchdowns in this game and he won’t be overly popular as a captain. It’s about time DeAndre Hopkins has a big game.

T.Y. Hilton - IND (FanDuel $11,500 / DraftKings $9,600)

T.Y. Hilton is currently questionable to play in this game. If Hilton is a full go, I’ll have my fair share of him at captain as well. We know he loves beating up on the Texans and he’s done it his entire career. He put up 74 yards and a touchdown against them two weeks ago and depending on injury, will get a second crack. If he’s out, we’ll touch on a few guys you can consider playing.

Kenny Stills - HOU (FanDuel $8,500 / DraftKings $6,400)

With Will Fuller out, Kenny Stills does his best to fill his role. He hasn’t broken out like we may have expected, but he’s consistently seeing and catching targets. He’s going to go overlooked last week after going for just 27 yards, but nothing has changed. He’s still going to run some fly routes and there’s a chance he gets over the top on this Colts secondary. I prefer Stills to any other WR after Hilton and Hopkins.

Zach Pascal - IND (FanDuel $9,000 / DraftKings $8,000)

Zach Pascal has been flying under the radar as a fantasy asset this season. Through eight games, Pascal has 364 yards and four touchdowns. He takes on the number one receiver role when Hilton is out and he’s currently questionable. If Hilton plays, I’ll have a few shares of Pascal, but nothing crazy. If Hilton is out, Pascal is going to be one of my top targets on the slate.

DFS Tight Ends - Week 10 Picks

Jack Doyle - IND (FanDuel $8,500 / DraftKings $4,400)

Eric Ebron is currently questionable to play Thursday. If he plays, these two guys are going to split time. They are both in play and either could be the guy who scores. With that being said, Doyle has a touchdown in two straight games and has out-targeted Ebron in the red zone all season long. The Texans aren’t great against right ends and I’m a big fan of Jack Doyle is Ebron ends up sitting. He would end up getting both of their routes and would end up over 50 yards.

Darren Fells - HOU (FanDuel $7,500 / DraftKings $3,400)

Fells gets looks from Deshaun Watson in the red zone. He doesn’t see much action otherwise, but that’s fine. He sees ½ of his targets in the red zone, where it matters. He’s cheap and always a TD threat. I wouldn’t go there in cash games, but he’s certainly worth a flier in a GPP.
