San Jose Sharks left wing Timo Meier has been confirmed to play ahead of his team's Friday contest against the Vegas Golden Knights. The 22-year-old departed Wednesday's season opener versus Vegas in the third period and did not return, having appeared to get pegged with a shot in his midsection. Meier getting the green light is excellent news for his fantasy owners, as the Swiss native is looking to build upon a breakthrough 66-point (30 goals, 36 assists) campaign in 2018-2019. In addition to his point production, Meier carries additional value based on his strong peripherals.
