Nicholas Castellanos Homers in Loss
Nicholas Castellanos provided the only offense that the Cubs could muster on Friday night, hitting a solo home run in a 7-1 loss against the Brewers. Castellanos gave Chicago a brief lead, putting the Cubs up 1-0 when he parked a 88 MPH cutter from Zach Davies 387-feet in the third inning, and also added two stolen bases later in the game (as well as being caught twice). The home run was his 12th as a Cub and Castellanos is now slashing .338/.369/.684 in his 145 plate appearances since joining the Northsiders.
