FanDuel MLB DFS Lineup Picks (6/30/19): Daily Fantasy Baseball Advice

Troy Klauder highlights the top FanDuel MLB DFS lineup picks for 6/30/19, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

Today's all day slate starts extra early at 10:10am eastern, as the Red Sox and Yankees battle in game two of the London Series. The main slate starts at 1:05 pm eastern as usual. If you're playing in the early slate, consider any and every hitter in the NYY-BOS matchup, as yesterday's absurd 17-13 final shows how small of a park they're playing in.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 6/30/2019. The picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

We also provide DFS lineup picks for DraftKings and other sports. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me on Twitter @TroyKlauder

FanDuel DFS Pitchers

Blake Snell, TAM vs TEX ($8,500)

The last two weeks have been a nightmare for Blake Snell owners, as his ERA has risen to 5.01 after two straight disastrous starts. Snell's peripherals tell a completely different story from his results, though, as his 3.47 FIP suggests that he's been much better than his ERA. Snell's 31.7% K-rate is actually even higher than it was than last year, when he won the AL Cy Young award. He's got enormous strikeout upside against a Rangers lineup that has the highest K-rate in all of baseball against lefties at 28.0%. This is an ideal opportunity to buy low on an extremely talented pitcher in Snell.

Miles Mikolas, STL at SDP ($7,000)

Mikolas has had his fair share of struggles, but he can be useful as a cheap play with a good matchup. The Padres have been well below average against righties this year with a .308 wOBA, and their 26.2% strikeout-rate is highest in the league. Mikolas also gets to face them in San Diego, which has one of the best pitcher's parks in baseball. Mikolas has some positive momentum coming into this start, with just one earned run allowed in his last 11 innings, so he could continue that trend here.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Matt Adams: 1B, WAS at DET ($3,300)

Adams has been crushing the ball over the last two weeks, with six home runs and a 1.012 OPS. He's in a spot to drive in runs batting fifth as the Nats face a righty in Jordan Zimmermann, who has a terrible 5.95 ERA - the Nationals are a great lineup to stack against him. Adams is an affordable Nats bat to choose, along with Adam Eaton in the two-hole.

Jose Altuve: 2B, HOU vs SEA ($3,600)

Altuve hasn't looked like an elite player this year, but for a guy with his track record, you have to assume that he's going to break out soon and continue buying at a low price. He's still shredding left-handed pitching, with a ridiculous 202 wRC+ against southpaws this year. Altuve gets to face a weak lefty in Marco Gonzales, who has a 4.34 ERA with a poor 16.1% K-rate.

Kris Bryant: 3B, CHC at CIN ($3,800)

Bryant is a stellar power bat to invest in as he finishes out a series in Cincinnati, one of the best hitting environments in the league. Opposing starter Anthony DeSclafani has a 1.81 HR/9 with a 4.74 FIP, so Bryant has tons of extra base hit upside. Bryant has a monster .284/.395/.531 line this year, so it's surprising to see his price below four grand.

Francisco Lindor: SS, CLE at BAL ($4,300)

Cleveland has given up 26 runs in the last two games, and it's about time that they start putting up some crooked numbers of their own in a hitter's park in Baltimore. Lindor is in a spot for a huge performance batting leadoff against the garbage Orioles pitching staff. O's starter Gabriel Ynoa has a 6.45 FIP (which is somehow actually better than his 6.75 ERA) so Lindor will have plenty of run scoring opportunities atop the lineup.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

Nick Senzel, CIN vs CHC ($3,500)

Senzel is already producing like a fantasy stud with eight steals and eight homers in just 48 games this year. His power/speed combo makes him an attractive GPP play, as he can score you points in plenty of different ways. Best of all, he'll be leading off as the Reds face a lefty in Jon Lester.

Ryan Braun, MIL vs PIT ($3,100)

Braun has been excellent against lefties in his career, with an outstanding .990 OPS. Pirates starter Steven Brault has a 5.26 SIERA and a 4.78 FIP, so Braun will be able to rack up counting stats batting third for the Brewers. A hitter-friendly park at home will only increase Braun's opportunities for runs and RBI.
