The Los Angeles Kings activated left wing Ilya Kovalchuk (ankle) from Injured Reserve and he responded with two goals in his return Saturday in San Jose, including the game-winning tally in overtime. Kovalchuk missed 10 games due to an ankle bursectomy, but he had a jump in his step to snap an 11-game scoreless skid. In addition to his game-winning breakaway goal in the extra session, he also added a goal on the man advantage in the second period while posting a team-high six shots on goal. It appears safe to plug him back into the active fantasy lineup in all pools.--Daniel Dobish
