Anaheim Ducks left wing Jakob Silfverberg gave the team a perfect start on Friday against Carolina with a short-handed goal in the first period, but the team couldn't produce any more offense and saw their five-game winning streak end with a 4-1 score line. Jake Dotchin recorded the assist on the play. Silfverberg started the season with a three-point performance, but he's mostly been a disappointment so far, picking up only 13 points in 26 games. However, the Swedish winger has now scored in back-to-back games, so he's showing some signs of life. His Friday's marker was the 100th goal of his career.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
