Edmonton Oilers forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored his seventh goal of the season in his team's 3-2 shootout defeat of the St. Louis Blues on Wednesday. The 25-year-old also added a tally in the shootout, playing an instrumental part in the victory. Nugent-Hopkins was a sleeper candidate for many analysts over the summer for his placement alongside the world's most dangerous scorer in Connor McDavid on the Oilers' top line. However, the crafty center has since been moved to a second-line role, tasked with providing an influx of secondary scoring for the team. The former first-overall draft pick has done just that with 25 points (seven goals, 18 assists) in 28 games and should continue to be an asset for fantasy owners despite his placement in the Oilers lineup.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
