FanDuel Quarterbacks - Week 12 DFS Picks

Andrew Luck - QB, IND vs MIA (FD - $8,400)

It seems the question is becoming not if, but when? That question is, When will Andrew Luck throw his third touchdown of the game, the first half or the second half? This is due to the fact he has posted three or more touchdowns in seven straight games and you better believe he is in a spot to do that again this week. He will be up against the Dolphins who come in with the 22nd DVOA versus the pass and have given up multiple touchdowns in three of their last four games. Luck is also throwing the ball 40 times per game, which is fifth highest in the league, giving him plenty of upside in any matchup due to the overall volume.

Baker Mayfield - QB, CLE @ CIN (FD - $7,500)

Baker should be good for any format this week and is up against the Bengals in a game where the over-under is set at 47.5 points. The Bengals defense comes in with the 18th DVOA versus the pass and the 30th DVOA versus the rush. The Bengals are simply one of the worst defenses in the league and you should be stacking against them when you can. Baker has multiple touchdowns in four straight weeks and is known for some rushing ability which will only boost his floor of points.

FanDuel Running Backs - Week 12 DFS Picks

LeSean McCoy - RB, BUF vs JAC (FD - $6,000)

McCoy and the Bills are three-point underdogs at home to the Jaguars, who have all but lost their season. Going to McCoy and correlating him with the Bills defense could be a strong play this week since this game has a lower over-under set at 37 points. Despite the lack of potential upside from scoring, McCoy is starting to see good usage in the offense and has double-digit carries in three straight weeks along with 13 targets in the passing game over those same three games.

Christian McCaffrey - RB, CAR vs SEA (FD - $8,400)

McCaffrey is coming off a bit of a down game where he had 19 total touches, barely reached 100 combined yards and didn't reach the end zone. That might not seem like seem like a down week for some, but McCaffrey had posted four touchdowns in the three weeks prior, which is where he should return to this week. He is up against the Seahawks who are 19th DVOA versus the rush and have the 13th DVOA versus running backs in the passing game. This matchup has some sneaky shootout potential, which would mean even more touches for McCaffrey in the offense.

FanDuel Wide Receivers - Week 12 DFS Picks

Tyler Lockett - WR, SEA @ CAR (FD - $6,300)

Lockett has five receptions in each of the past two weeks, which is his highest total out of any two week period this season. He will be up against this Panthers secondary who got roasted last week by Kenny Golladay and two weeks ago by the Steelers' receivers. An ideal matchup for him since he should be covered by Panthers' cornerback Donte Jackson, who is giving up 0.37 fantasy points per route covered this season.

Alshon Jeffery - WR, PHI vs NYG (FD - $7,200)

Jeffrey played on 100% of the offensive snaps last week but was only able to come away with four receptions for 33 yards. That is truly unlike him, but he is in a spot to bounce back this week since the Eagles are up against the Giants who have the 27th DVOA versus the pass. Jeffrey will likely be covered a lot by Janoris Jenkins who is giving up 0.50 fantasy points per route run this season. This is a game the Eagles can win and almost need to if they want any chance of saving their season, meaning Jeffery needs to step up and have a big game.

FanDuel Tight End - Week 12 DFS Pick

Vance McDonald - TE, PIT @ DEN (FD - $5,500)

It's nice to see a tight end show some consistency since we often get a wide range of outcomes from that position. McDonald has four or more targets in four of his last five games and has hauled in two touchdowns in that span. Solid production from a player who isn't too expensive and is now up against the Broncos who are 18th DVOA against tight ends this season.

FanDuel Defense - Week 12 DFS Pick

Buffalo Bills vs Jacksonville Jaguars (FD - $4,000)

The Bills are in the mid-range when it comes to pricing this week for defenses and is playing in the game with the lowest over-under on the slate, set at 37. They are also up against the Jaguars and the always turnover prone Blake Bortles, which gives them some nice upside. The Jaguars come in with an implied team total sitting at only 20, which is the sixth lowest on the slate, so you should be looking to have a bit of exposure to them. They have generated six sacks and three interceptions in their last three games.
