Week 10 Wide Receivers - Waiver Wire Pickups and Adds

Kyle Richardson's recommended fantasy football wide receiver waiver wire pickups for Week 10. These are your free agent fantasy WRs to add, and potential PPR sleepers to stash in 2018.

Not much time is left in the fantasy football season, so decisions are critical right now. With the waiver wire so thin, a week of injuries can leave you scrambling last minute. Stefon Diggs was a surprise scratch this week and if you didn’t work the waiver wire prior to his scratch, then you may have been left shorthanded. It may be time to cut bait from some under performing or injured players to grab some guys that could be more help.

Instead of going in depth on a few players, we are going to quick hit many options this week that you should keep your eye on. Not all options are the same. Some players may be better in PPR or deeper leagues, so it’s not a one size fits all comparison. Use your best judgement when deciding which of these players is the right fit for your roster.

Check here for a complete list of our Waiver Wire Adds for Week 10 for help at all the skill positions. As always, RotoBaller has you covered!

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Front Runners for Week 10 - Wide Receiver Additions

This group consists of wide receivers that I would recommend adding if they are available on your waiver wire. Some are more viable for PPR formats, so take note of that. These players have either earned a greater workload due to injury/performance issues or have shown that they can be weekly contributors to their NFL teams. All players listed have 50% or less ownership levels across fantasy leagues.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling, GB - 37% owned

It was a slow first half for Marquez Valdes-Scantling but even though he didn’t have a ton of volume in the second half, he was able to haul in three catches for 101 yards against the Patriots on Sunday night. If you have read this article in the past, I have been vocal about Valdes-Scantling taking over as the WR2 in Green Bay. Geronimo Allison has officially been put on IR, and Valdes-Scantling has done enough to be the next guy in line. Since Week 5, Valdes-Scantling has put together double-digit points in PPR leagues every week. Some tough matchups lie ahead, but you cannot count out an Aaron Rodgers-led offense.

Anthony Miller, CHI - 11% owned

The Bears offense continues to roll and after a drumming of the Buffalo Bills, the Bears will head to Detroit for a Week 10 matchup. This waiver claim could rely on the health of Allen Robinson, but even if Robinson returns, Anthony Miller could continue to hold value through the end of the season. Miller led the Bears with five receptions on six targets for 49 yards. This was a tough matchup for the passing game because the Bills have a great pass defense. Miller was supposed to play out of the slot to start the year, but if Robinson returns, Miller could play on the outside with Taylor Gabriel in the slot. The Bears can be flexible with their receivers which could be good for all their value.

Danny Amendola, MIA - 48% owned

Danny Amendola is so close to graduating from this article, but because he hasn’t hit 50% yet, he hangs around for another week. Amendola continues to lead the Dolphins in targets after another seven on Sunday. Amendola is averaging under 10 yards a catch and only has one touchdown, but in PPR league, Amendola has a nice floor each week. Up next is a Week 10 matchup with the Packers which will likely lead to plenty of opportunities for Amendola.

Willie Snead, BAL - 34% owned

I have been saying Willie Snead’s name for a couple weeks now if you needed a PPR play. After another solid performance Sunday against the Steelers, Snead had seven receptions for 58 yards, good for 12.8 PPR fantasy points. If you had that slotted into your flex spot, you wouldn’t hate it. Even though the Ravens will be on a bye in Week 10, it may be worth stashing him now instead of waiting till next week. With matchups against the Raiders, Falcons, Chiefs and Buccaneers after the bye, Snead could be a big asset for your team heading into the playoffs.

In the Running for Week 10 - Wide Receiver Additions

This group consists of wide receivers widely available on the waiver wire who aren't must-adds but could be worth stashing or streaming if the above options are already taken or if you are dealing with injuries.

Martavis Bryant, OAK - 11% owned

The Raiders are bad. Really, really bad. So bad that most of Twitter were speculating whether the Alabama Crimson Tide could beat the Raiders if they were to play this season. Now while that seems outlandish to even think, it just goes to show how awful that performance against the San Francisco 49ers last week was. Since the Raiders are so bad though, it could mean lots of catch up games and Martavis Bryant being the deep threat could benefit the most. It’s risky and probably not worth the grab for most teams, but if you need a hail mary play, take a look at Bryant who gets the Chiefs, Steelers, and Bengals over the next few weeks.

Quincy Enunwa, NYJ - 13% owned

Quincy Enunwa was one of the hot names to begin the season. Enunwa averaged 13.45 PPR points during the first four weeks of the season and the volume seemed to be coming from Sam Darnold. After an injury to Enunwa, he had -.10 points in back to back weeks. He doesn’t have a great schedule for receivers the rest of the season, or he would be listed in the front runner’s section. Enough owners have dropped him though that you could take a stab and see if Darnold starts to find his favorite target again.

John Ross, CIN - 3% owned

We don’t know how long it will be, but A.J. Green is set to miss at least two weeks based on reports coming out this week concerning his injured toe. Green and Tyler Boyd were in the midst of efficient seasons and with Green being out, Boyd will step into the WR1 position for Andy Dalton and Ross could become the WR2. If Boyd’s performance is any factor as to what we could see from Ross, then Ross will have some nice value in Green’s absence. First up? Cincinnati will get the New Orleans Saints at home in Week 10, a matchup ripe for the picking.

Dark Horses for Week 10 - Wide Receiver Additions

This group consists of wide receivers who need some more time to show us what they have but should be on our radar still. Don’t jump to add them yet, but another week or two could prove to be fruitful.

Maurice Harris, WSH - 0% owned

Since the Washington Redskins bye-week, Maurice Harris has started to see some work due to injuries surrounding the wide receivers each week. Even though he hasn’t had enough value each week to even be considered a starter, this week was much different. Harris went for 10 receptions on 12 targets and 124 receiving yards against the Falcons poor pass defense. While I don’t think we can expect that every week, he gets the Tampa Bay secondary in Week 10, so a second straight week of streaming him could be a great option if Jamison Crowder misses another game.

Adam Humphries, TB - 1% owned

I have included Adam Humphries a couple of times in this section of the waiver wire article and it has always been a risky option. Nothing is different this week as we still don’t know what to expect from the Tampa Bay offense. Heck, they could switch back to Jamies Winston at any point for all we know. So for us to trust Humphries on a weekly basis when he has Mike Evans, DeSean Jackson and Chris Godwin on the same team, it would take a lot of…….guts. Let’s say guts. However, Humphries has double-digit PPR points in three of the last four weeks and at least seven targets in four of the last five weeks.

T.J. Jones, DET - 1% owned

The Golden Tate era is over in Detroit and it appears T.J. Jones will be taking over his spot in the slot for the time being. More than likely Jones won’t have much value this season with Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones as the top options. If an injury were to occur though, then Jones should be considered as an addition in deep leagues. Matthew Stafford has looked Jones way in the past, even last season when Tate, Golladay and Jones were all together. Jones could offer some value in the red zone and even in hurry-up situations at some point this season. Considering the Lions still aren’t that good, there could be plenty of opportunities.

Say Goodbye for Week 10 - Wide Receiver Drops

This group consists of wide receivers who don't need to be owned. They aren't necessarily must-drop players, but if you need the roster space for one of the above players, don't hesitate to cut bait to chase upside.

Nelson Agholor, PHI - 50% owned

It’s hard telling what will happen with the Eagles offense now that have acquired Golden Tate, but I don’t think it’s anything that benefits Nelson Agholor from a fantasy football perspective. Unless you play in an extremely deep league, you can probably cast Agholor away to waivers. Agholor hasn’t capitalized on his breakout performance from last season and now that there are more mouths to feed, I doubt he’s able to anytime soon.

Jamison Crowder, WSH - 31% owned

Between his injuries and ineffective play, it’s hard to imagine there are still 31% of owners who still own him. Even if Crowder makes his way back, he hasn’t developed enough of a connection with Alex Smith this season and other options are in his absence. The Redskins will likely be moving on from Crowder at the end of the season, so ensuring players like Josh Doctson and Paul Richardson are able to build with Smith the rest of the season with an eye towards 2019 as well is very important.
