Rashaad Penny Returns To Purgatory

Seattle Seahawks rookie running back Rashaad Penny was left wanting on Sunday against Detroit as he was given no offensive touches. Last week in London, Penny found himself solidly in the mix, and he impressed, so the thought was that maybe the time had come for him to see more action. Head coach Pete Carroll quickly doused that thought this week by only using Penny on kickoff returns. Penny's rookie contract and potential make him an attractive long-term option, but this on-again/off-again game being played by Carroll makes Penny unownable for the time being.
