Buffalo Sabres left wing Jeff Skinner netted his fifth career hat trick on Saturday, helping the team beat the L.A. Kings 5-1. He got two in the second period -- including the game-winner -- and finished it off with an empty-netter in the third. Skinner previously had just one goal and three points for the whole season, so it was a bit of a coming out party for him in a Sabres jersey. Skinner seems to have been around forever, but he's still only 26 and there's plenty of upside to his game. Playing on the same line with Jack Eichel puts him in a good spot to record his third 60-plus point season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
