Calgary Flames center Mikael Backlund put up two assists during a 5-2 win over the Boston Bruins on Wednesday night. He now has a goal and three assists through six games in 2018-19. Backlund has put up over 45 points in each of the past three seasons. He is centering the second line alongside Matthew Tkachuk and Michael Frolik while also seeing time on the second power-play unit. While he is not going to win anybody their fantasy league, he is a serviceable depth center for managers in deeper leagues. Backlund can be considered a mid-tier C3.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
