Justin Thomas fired four consecutive rounds in the 60s at Bellerive Country Club but was unable to make some critical putts late in his round on Sunday, eventually finishing in a share of sixth place. The 25-year-old was looking to become the second player this season to defend their major title successfully, a feat that Brooks Koepka accomplished at the U.S. Open. Thomas, who is the defending champion of the FedExCup Playoffs, will have an opportunity to go back-to-back in capturing the first-place prize of 10 million dollars. He enters the playoffs ranked second on the season and should be considered one of the favorites to walk away with the top prize. --Spencer Aguiar - RotoBaller
