Bud Norris Has No Structural Damage in His Finger
St. Louis Cardinals closer Bud Norris underwent an MRI and it showed no structural damage to his finger. Norris experienced soreness and swelling on a finger of his throwing hand, but was able to finish the inning he was pitching. Since there is no structural damage, he likely won't need a trip to the disabled list, but he should be rested for a couple of games. Jordan Hicks will fill in as closer until Norris is ready to retake his role.
