Vancouver Canucks prospect Olli Juolevi is set to have back surgery after experiencing discomfort in his lower back while training this offseason. The surgery, a microdiscetomy, typically requires two to three months of recovery and rehabilitation. As a result, the 2016 fifth overall pick may not be ready when the Canucks kick off training camp in September. Juolevi is expected to push for a roster spot in Vancouver for this upcoming season and is coming off a strong campaign playing in Finland's top professional league in which he posted seven goals and 12 assists in 38 games. The Canucks are expected to provide an official timeline for his recovery after the surgery.--Chase Davis - RotoBallerRead More News
