Carl Edwards Jr. to Play Catch Tuesday
Carl Edwards Jr. (shoulder) is scheduled to play catch Tuesday. This will be the first time Edwards will be throwing since going to the disabled list with shoulder inflammation. Like teammate Yu Darvish, Edwards does not have a timetable for his return yet and it will likely hinge on how his arm feels after he begins throwing. Edwards holds a 2.88 ERA, a 1.16 WHIP and a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 40:12 in 25 innings so far this season with no saves and two wins. Edwards might be able to return before the calendar flips to July.
