6 years agoThe Atlanta Braves have released third baseman Jose Bautista. The 37-year old Bautista was signed by the Braves earlier this season, but has struggled to just a .593 OPS in 2018. Johan Camargo will be the everyday third baseman going forward. Camargo has been solid in his limited playing time, with eight runs, two homers and 13 RBI in 76 plate appearances. There could be some deeper league appeal for Camargo if he continues to hit, but prospect Austin Riley is right around the corner. This may be the last we see of Jose Bautista.--RJ Stacey
