Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Mike Soroka was recently placed on the disabled list, retroactive to May 14, for a shoulder strain. According to Soroka, all of his tests, including an MRI, have come back negative so far, which is good news for the Braves and for fantasy owners in dynasty leagues. Soroka had a 3.68 ERA over two starts with the major league club, but as he is only 20 years old, the Braves may choose to keep him in the minors upon his return from the DL. Braves manager Brian Snitker has already expressed interest in sending Soroka back to the minors to stretch him out further as a starter.--Brendan Bilodeau
