Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi (elbow) is nearing a return to major league action. Eovaldi struck out three whilst giving up one run in two innings at Class-A. Eovaldi was making his second of four planned rehab starts, and will now move to Triple-A Durham to continue his return. If all goes to plan Eovaldi should return on May 24th. When he does return his fantasy value will initially be limited. Eovaldi's last major league action was back in 2016 with the Yankees, where he had a 4.76 ERA and struck out 97 in 124 2/3 innings. For Eovaldi to have much value outside of AL-only leagues he will need to improve his strikeout rate and ERA when he returns for the Rays.--Ben Rolfe
