St. Louis Cardinals closer Bud Norris (triceps) expects to be available on Thursday when the Cardinals open up a series in San Diego against the Padres. Norris was able to long toss and throw off flat ground on Tuesday and said, "I feel confident I’ll be ready to go," referring to Thursday's game.
