Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts in Friday night's loss to the Astros. The entire Arizona lineup was at the mercy of Gerrit Cole on Friday, mustering just one hit and one walk against him. This marked Goldschmidt's fourth straight game without a hit. Over his last 10 games, he has just six hits, three of which came in one game. The slump has dropped his average 40 points to .239. The most concerning aspect of his slump is that his plate discipline has completely disappeared, as he has a K:BB of 17:2 during the slump. Of course, the Diamondbacks will let Goldy work his way out of his funk, and he'll get as many starts as he can handle.--Jonathan Chan - Rotoballer
