Calgary Flames center Mikael Backlund was the star offensively in this season's final Battle of Alberta on Saturday night, finishing a 3-2 win with two points, including the game-winning goal. He had been awfully quiet for a while, coming into the game on an 11-game pointless streak. The team has been struggling as well, losing seven in a row before beating the Oilers. Backlund started this season on the back of consecutive 20-goal seasons, but he's currently on just 14 goals. He's added 29 assists to make it 43 points for the season, which is pretty much his level. The 53-point outburst in 2016-17 was an anomaly.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
