For just the second time in his career, Charley Hoffman (back) withdrew mid tournament as he left the course at Pebble Beach after 10 holes in the third round. Hoffman was two-under at the time and later cited back issues as the reason for his withdrawal. He is scheduled to play at this week's Genesis Open, though fantasy players may want to keep a close eye on his status, as it could change at any time. Hoffman did finish tied for fourth here in 2017, so if he plays and is healthy, he could be a threat come Sunday.--cmangano
