Yahoo Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (4/6/17): NBA DFS Advice

FanDuel DraftKings daily fantasy basketball

The top Yahoo daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for 4/6/17 by Jason Bales. Expert NBA DFS advice, sleepers & player recommendations for Yahoo.

Last night, Russell Westbrook fell one rebound shy of the single-season triple-double record. We will continue to keep an eye on that situation for all those interested fantasy owners! As for tonight, Westbrook is not scheduled for action. That opens up the salary cap space, but who to spend that money on? The answers are below:

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for Yahoo on 4/6/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on Yahoo.

If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @thedominatordfs.

Yahoo DFS Guards

Rajon Rondo - PG, at PHI ($24)

Rajon Rondo is questionable to play tonight against the Philadelphia 76ers due to a wrist injury. He was removed from his last game, but the X-rays came back negative, so there is no break. He posted over 25 fantasy points in 25 minutes in that game, which was against the New York Knicks. He also has over 35 fantasy points in four of his last five games, and over 40 fantasy points in three of his last five games. He is a big reason why the Chicago Bulls are making such a serious playoff push. If he is out, that will kill the offensive momentum, but Jimmy Butler becomes a much better play. If Rondo does suit up, he needs to be rostered in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

Jeremy Lin - PG, at ORL ($19)

Jeremy Lin is averaging over one fantasy point per minute on the court this season. In fact, he is only slightly less effective from a fantasy perspective than Jimmy Butler. That is impressive, considering that Lin is actually having a down season. Tonight, he gets a great matchup against the Orlando Magic, and the upside should be obvious. In his last six games, he has over 25 fantasy points in all of them. He has over 30 fantasy points in three of his last six games. Expect similar results tonight. His price tag is too low on Yahoo. Roster him in all leagues. He has proven his consistency.

Also Consider: Timothe Luwawu - SG, vs CHI ($10)

Yahoo DFS Forwards

Aaron Gordon - PF, vs BKN ($20)

Aaron Gordon has ridiculous upside, and he has been showing that off over his last few games. Against the Oklahoma City Thunder, he posted over 30 fantasy points in 41 minutes. Fantasy owners were likely pleasantly surprised. In his last game, he posted over 60 fantasy points in 36 minutes against the Boston Celtics. Fantasy owners likely went ballistic. He posted over 50 fantasy points in 35 minutes against the Brooklyn Nets in the game after that. Tonight, he faces that same team. He will look for a repeat performance. On Yahoo, his price tag is very low. He can be rostered in all leagues, as he should hit value, but he has added upside that no one else on the board has.

Al-Farouq Aminu - PF, vs MIN ($14)

With Jusuf Nurkic out for the remainder of the season, the Portland Trailblazers are looking for players to step up and score. Al-Farouq Aminu posted over 40 fantasy points in 35 minutes against the Minnesota Timberwolves two games ago. He scored 20 regular points. He will look to do the exact same thing tonight against the exact same team. His price tag is very low, but he has not been consistent over his last few games. He is best suited for tournaments, but if he fits into cash game lineups, do not intentionally avoid him.

Also Consider: Noah Vonleh - PF, vs MIN ($10)

Yahoo DFS Centers

Brook Lopez - C, at ORL ($27)

Brook Lopez gets a great matchup tonight against the Orlando Magic. Nikola Vucevic is great offensively, but he will not be able to keep Lopez from scoring inside or from range. Lopez has over 40 fantasy points in three of his last five games. He posted over 50 fantasy points two games ago against the Atlanta Hawks in 31 minutes. His price tag is very reasonable, and he makes for the best center option on the board. Unsurprisingly, he is the best center option on the board across the industry (Yahoo, FanDuel, DraftKings) tonight. Roster him in all leagues.

Also Consider: Myles Turner - C, vs MIL ($22)
