It's Week 25, also known as the final week of the season for the two teams contending for the championship. The waiver wire is sparse with talent that will truly push a team over the final hill. After all, you're going up against the best team in your league (aside from your own, of course).

However, there are a few key players that have become must add assets for teams owners on the final leg of their journey. At this point, the previous four and a half months of the season do not matter. Whoever is hitting right now is extremely valuable. By the way, if there's any chance that Trea Turner (84% ownership) is available in your league, for the love of God pick him up.

Week 25 Outfield Targets

Brandon Drury, Arizona Diamondbacks

Owned in 48% of Fleaflicker Leagues

Over the past two weeks, Drury's ownership has shot up 44 percentage points. Clearly, championship-bound owners have already caught on to what the kid is doing. After a hot start to his rookie year, Drury was largely horrible over the middle months of the season. Over the past 15 games, however, he's slashing .467/.556/.889 for a league best 1.444 OPS. In that span, he has five long balls and 14 RBI. Drury offers nothing in terms of speed, but he's the hottest hitter in the league right now. There's absolutely no reason to leave this guy on the waiver wire for the final week of fantasy baseball.

Kevin Kiermaier, Tampa Bay Rays

Compared to the ridiculous slugging abilities of Drury, Kevin Kiermaier's puny 1.021 OPS in his last 13 games seems worthless. However, what Kiermaier offers (aside from the legitimately dominant OPS) is speed. In the past 30 days, the dynamic outfielder has launched five dingers (four of those in the last two weeks) and stolen eight bases. Throw in the fact that he's a gold glove cneter fielder and this guy is the complete package. Add this guy and do it fast.

Sean Rodriguez, Pittsburgh Pirates

Owned in 15% of Fleaflicker Leagues

Sean Rodriguez has never been anywhere near making this list and why should he have? He's a part time utility player for the middling Pirates who has just 260 at bats on the year. It's worth mentioning that he's been quite productive during his time in the game. In 2016, the 31 year-old is slashing an impressive .265/.348/.523 with 17 homers and 31 RBI. With full-time at bats he could easily reach 30 dongs. He's been particularly impressive in September, evidenced by his .350/.400/.750 line in the month accompanied by five homers. The best part about Rodriguez? He's eligible at every position on the field except for catcher (and pitcher, obviously). If there are holes to be filled on your squad heading into the final week, Sean Rod is your guy.
