MLB Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks - FanDuel Baseball Advice for 4/15/16

Jason Bales highlights the top MLB DFS lineup picks for 4/15/16, as well as sleepers for your daily fantasy baseball roster on FanDuel.

The New York Mets have been terrible, but c'mon FanDuel! They are entirely too cheap.

The same goes for the Baltimore Orioles. Let's see who else is slightly too cheap tonight!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/15/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on FanDuel.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target for FanDuel

New York Mets

The New York Mets start the season out slow, but they will likely turn that around soon. Tonight, they face off against Cody Anderson and the Cleveland Indians. On FanDuel, most of the Mets' players are entirely too cheap. This is the perfect stack.

Baltimore Orioles

The Baltimore Orioles are too cheap right now as well. The Texas Rangers have a horrible pitching staff, and Martin Perez is not going to slow down Manny Machado and crew. Use the Baltimore Orioles stack in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

Boston Red Sox

The Boston Red Sox are one of the best hitting teams in the league, especially at home. Tonight, they face off against the Toronto Blue Jays and R.A. Dickey. Dickey does not pitch well in open-air stadiums away from Toronto. The Red Sox are going to tee-off on him.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel

Clayton Kershaw

Clayton Kershaw is the best pitcher in the league. He has proven that year after year, and that is not going to change tonight just because he gets a tough matchup against the San Francisco Giants. The first time Kershaw met the Giants this season, he looked solid in San Francisco. He should look even better tonight in Los Angeles.

Zack Greinke

Zack Greinke has looked terrible so far this season, but he should be able to turn that around with a great matchup against the San Diego Padres in Petco Park. Petco Park is one of the most pitcher-friendly parks in the league, and Greinke needs that to establish his dominance. Use him in all formats. Do not let his slow start scare you off.

Joe Ross

Joe Ross is extraordinarily cheap tonight against the Philadelphia Phillies. The Phillies are one of the worst teams in the league, and they are not going to hit against Ross tonight. Ross looked great in his first start of the season, striking out five batters in seven innings. Ross has yet to prove himself, but he is definitely trustable in tournaments due to his ridiculous upside.

DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel

Catcher (C) - Jonathan Lucroy

Jonathan Lucroy is hitting extremely well right now. He has nine hits in 29 at-bats with four runs, two RBIs, and two walks. He should continue to play well tonight against the Pittsburgh Pirates and Jeff Locke.

First Base (1B) - Lucas Duda

Lucas Duda is entirely too cheap. He has a ton of power, and despite his slow start to the season, that needs to be taken into consideration when looking at his price. The Mets should score early and often, and Duda is in the middle of that lineup.

Second Base (2B) - Starlin Castro

Starlin Castro is off to a very hot start to the season, hitting well above .300 with two home runs and nine RBIs. The New York Yankees are going to score runs, and Castro is a big part of that. Use him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

Shortstop (SS) - Francisco Lindor

Francisco Lindor is also hitting over .300 so far this season, and he has a ton of power. Bartolo Colon is on the mound for the New York Mets, and despite his amazing achievement of pitching well at over 40 years of age, that will not continue for too long. Lindor has 12, nine, 21, 12 and 15 fantasy points in his last five games.

Third Base (3B) - Manny Machado

Manny Machado is hitting over .400 to start the season. He has a ton of power, and he also has the ability to steal bases. The Baltimore Orioles are a great stack, and if Machado is not in that stack, there is something wrong. Do not avoid him.

DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel

Mookie Betts

Mookie Betts is too cheap on FanDuel. He is one of the most expensive outfielders on the board over at DraftKings, but he is getting no respect from the FanDuel salary projection team. In his last three games, he has 30, 18, and 18 fantasy points. Use him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

Yoenis Cespedes

Yoenis Cespedes is also too cheap. He has been terrible to start the season, but he gets such a great matchup tonight that it really does not matter. Expect him to hammer the ball tonight and easily hit value.

J.D. Martinez

J.D. Martinez has been too cheap on both FanDuel and DraftKings for about a week now. He is hitting the ball extremely well, and he has some of the best power in the league. There is simply no reason to avoid him.

Mark Trumbo

Mark Trumbo is another great hitter. He has a ton of power, and he is hitting over. 400 to start the season. In his last three games, he does have a big goose egg, but aside from that, he has 39 and 24 fantasy points. He is one of the best tournament outfielders in the league right now.

Adam Jones

Adam Jones is another great tournament option. He has not been hitting well at all this season, and he does not have a home run yet. The home runs will come. Do not worry. Use him while his price tag is low because he will turn his season around sooner or later.
