NBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks - FanDuel DFS Basketball Advice for 12/20/15

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday! Two slate on tap for Sunday and they are filling up mega fast. The early games look to feature a little more blow out potential (cough cough, Cleveland and Philly), but the late games should be action packed.

In this article, I will be providing you with Daily NBA picks for DraftKings for 12/20/15. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.

Without wasting anymore time, let's get down to it!

DraftKings DFS Point Guards

Jarrett Jack (vs MIN, $6,900)

At this price, Jack is an incredible value play. Shane Larkin is out, so it’s been the Jack show over the last few games. And he has not disappointed. He has played at least 36 minutes in three out of the last four, securing at least 37.5 FanDuel points in those games. His price, projected value and overall production make him a must play in nearly every format.

Michael Carter-Williams (at PHO, $6,200)

Carter-Williams is another guy that has come on as of late and has really taken the reins of the point in Milwaukee. His stat line over the last four looks like 19.3/4.8/5.3 per game, while adding in a spatter of steals here and there. This matchup with the Suns is terrific for a guy like him. Phoenix plays at a top five pace and they are allowing the fifth-most points to opposing point guards on the season. It should be a heavy dose of Jack and Carter-Williams in the early slate.

Rajon Rondo (vs TOR, $8,600)

Rondo seemingly didn’t miss a step after his one game suspension and continues to anchor the Assocation’s fastest team. The game in Sacramento figures to be the highest scoring affair of the day, so you’ll want to get a piece of some of the heavy hitters in the late entries.

DraftKings DFS Shooting Guards

DeMar DeRozan (at SAC, $8,000)

Someone from the Toronto backcourt had to pick up the slick left from the voids of DeMarre Carroll and Jonas Valanciunas. That someone has been DeRozan, especially as of late. His usage rate has jumped up to over 27.5% over the last two weeks and he has a great matchup against the up tempo Kings. DeDe is the absolute best money play on the board in the late games.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (at PHO, $6,800)

For the early slate, the Greak Freek is my top value play. The Suns’ breakneck pace bodes well for guards and swingmen that are capable of playing fast and stuffing the stat sheet, so here is a guy that does that. The game’s up and down tempo should play well into Antetokounmpo’s skill set against the defensive efficient Suns.

Will Barton (vs NO, $5,900)

Even off the bench, Barton has been- as Stuart Scott would say- as cool as the other side of the pillow this season. The third year pro is seeing career highs in both field goal percentage (45.5%) and usage rate (22.6%) and there is no evidence to suggest any type of drop off in production. The Pelican frontcourt is one that I love to pick on. They’ve given up the fourth most FanDuel points to opposing two guards on the year.

DraftKings DFS Small Forwards

LeBron James (vs PHI, $10,500)

The King versus the Sixers. Um, yea.

Omri Casspi (vs TOR, $4,900)

Rudy Gay is also playing solid ball right now, but it’s so hard to pass on Casspi at this price. The injury to Willie Cauley-Stein has opened the door for Casspi and the Kings to play a little small ball, leading to the Israeli grabbing a few more boards than his career numbers would indicate. Love Casspi in all formats for the late slate.

DraftKings DFS Power Forwards

Paul Millsap (vs ORL, $8,300)

Who is going to slow down Millsap? Seriously, who? Channing Frye? Andrew Nicholson? Millsap is going to dominate the Magic en route to being the highest scorer at the four of the day.

Thaddeus Young (vs MIN, $7,000)

Mr. Double-Double himself, Thad lit up the Pacers for 14-14 in his last outing after a couple of sub-par performances. This game against Minnesota could play quicker than most people anticipate, which may not bode well for someone like young. However, he is shooting 51.2% this season and the Timberwolves have been allowing opponents to shoot nearly 49% from the field over their last three games.

Ryan Anderson (at DEN, $6,100)

If you’re not investing in the Anthony Davis hype, then maybe Anderson is the one you want to roster. His last performance was quite underwhelming, yet his price raised by about $100. Before his stinker against Phoenix, he was solidly playing at least 30 minutes off the bench and compiling close to 30 FanDuel points per game. The Unibrow is projected to score more than Anderson, but Anderson makes sense for tournaments.

DraftKings DFS Centers

DeMarcus Cousins (vs TOR, $9,900)

Boogie is sub-$10,000 and will be feasting off whatever frontcourt Toronto is featuring these days. Look out.

Gorgui Dieng (at BKN, $4,900)

Since being inserted into the starting lineup, and a few games before then, Dieng has made the most of his minutes, mainly through rebounds and blocks. He will have a tough matchup against Thaddeus Young, but offensively the ceiling should be a bit higher than his standard. He has averaged 23.8 FanDuel points over his last 10 games. If he hits that on Sunday, that’s good enough for a near 5x return on value.
