FanDuel Picks for Daily Fantasy Football Week 15: DFS Lineup Advice and Sleepers

How many injuries to the Seahawks running backs are we going to see this season? They are down to the bottom of the barrel players, which could be great for the fantasy outlook for Russell Wilson and Doug Baldwin. We also saw injuries to T.J. Yeldon, Jonathan Stewart, Greg Olsen, Andy Dalton, and Tyler Eifert. Sheesh. NFL = Not For Long.

In this edition I will be headlining a few of my top plays on FanDuel for Week 15 of the daily fantasy football season.

These DFS lineup picks can range from the elite tier of players to a few guys that I feel are a bit overpriced on FanDuel. Let's get to it!

FanDuel DFS Quarterbacks for Week 15

Russell Wilson (vs CLE, $8,800)

Wilson can be used in all leagues until he cools down a bit. In his last four games, he has thrown for 1,171 yards and 16 touchdowns with zero interceptions. He has also added 101 yards and 1 touchdown on the ground. This week he gets a great matchup against a weak Cleveland secondary, who just lost Joe Haden for the season. Wilson has easily been exceeding value recently, and he can be used in all leagues until his price reaches his production.

AJ McCarron (at SF, $6,000)

McCarron took over for the injured Andy Dalton last week and played well enough, compiling 280 yards and 2 touchdowns in relief. He was one of the most underrated prospects coming out of college a few years ago, and now is his time to prove his NFL worth. He gets a great matchup this week against the 49ers, who have struggled defensively all season. The Bengals had no problems with McCarron throwing the ball against the Steelers last week, and he should see 30+ attempts again this week. He’s a great option for his price.

FanDuel DFS Running Backs for Week 15

Eddie Lacy (at OAK, $6,900)

Lacy has been dealing with a multitude of problems this season which have limited his playing time. Green Bay gave him 25 touches last week, which shows that they are confident he is back to full health and ready to be their workhorse (and not missing curfew). He has been playing well recently when given the chance, and it looks like his lack of playing time early in the season kept him fresh for now. James Starks is always a concern because he has been vulturing Lacy’s touchdowns, but Lacy gets a great matchup this week, and Green Bay should rely heavily on him. He’s a high upside tournament option.

Tim Hightower (vs DET, $6,300)

Hightower is the clear beneficiary from the Mark Ingram injury. After having a limited role for parts of the season, Hightower recorded 29 touches for 95 yards and 1 touchdown last week against the Bucs. Hightower isn’t the most talented runner, but he’s seeing a high volume of touches, which makes him usable in fantasy. He can also catch a few passes out of the backfield, which gives him even more upside. The Lions have an average run defense, and Hightower can be used in all leagues this week.

FanDuel DFS Wide Receivers for Week 15

Doug Baldwin (vs CLE, $7,400)

It’s tough to imagine using Baldwin at this price tag, but he makes a great stacking option with Russell Wilson. Over the last five games, Baldwin has recorded 30 catches for 515 yards and nine touchdowns. The touchdowns really stand out, but Baldwin is Wilson’s first option on nearly every play and the Seahawks should be able to score this week. The Seahawks have been relying heavily on Wilson’s arm because of the plethora of injuries to their running backs, and Baldwin should be able to have another successful week.

Jeremy Maclin (at BAL, $6,700)

Maclin has been one of the most inconsistent players in the NFL this season, as he’ll dominate for a few weeks then disappear from the Chiefs offense. He has strung together three consecutive good games, while recording 24 catches for 323 yards and 3 touchdowns. He gets a great matchup against the Ravens, who have really struggled defending this pass this season. Maclin is the clear-cut number one option on the Chiefs, and he should continue to be targeted heavily this week. He isn’t trustworthy enough for cash games, but he’s a good GPP option.

FanDuel DFS Tight Ends for Week 15

Jordan Reed (vs BUF, $6,300)

Reed is a bit inconsistent, but he has tremendous upside week in and week out. One of the biggest reasons I like Reed this week is because the Redskins are playing at home. Kirk Cousins is a significantly better quarterback at home, and Reed tends to play well when Cousins plays well. He’s coming off a great game against the Bears, and he could be more involved in the offense this week with DeSean Jackson questionable. Reed can be used in all leagues this week.

Kyle Rudolph (vs CHI, $5,000)

Rudolph has recently seen his role in the Minnesota offense grow. He has at least six receptions in three of his last four games. This week, he gets a great matchup against the Bears, who have just allowed Jordan Reed to record over 100 yards and a touchdown. Rudolph has good upside, although it’s a bit limited by the lack of passing attempts per game by the Vikings. He has been fairly consistent, though, and he can be used in all leagues for his price.
