Daily Fantasy College Football - DraftKings CFB DFS picks for 11/7 (early)

Going into Week 10 of the college football season, the injuries that plague offensive players and how if affects a teams performance is evident as ever. However, many college programs seem to finally understand and value depth at these sensitive positions. Plenty of second-string success stories exist all over the FBS, especially at schools like Notre Dame, whose first string quarterback and running back are out for the season.

It's times like these where having a little prior knowledge of incoming freshman can be incredibly helpful during line-up rotations. Unproven players who are expedited to first string are great to draft into a line-up the weeks they're starting because of how much lower their salary typically will be.

DFS owners might find it to be a bit of a relief to focus on fantasy points during these next few weeks, when every win and loss will mean something for a team getting into the playoffs... and with no shortage of injuries, suspensions and scandal plaguing FBS teams all over the country, the only thing that can make it a little more interesting is making a little money.

DraftKings CFB Lineup Picks - Fantasy College Football (Week 10)

Notre Dame Fighting Irish (7-1) @Pittsburgh Pathers (6-2)

Pittsburgh raised a few eyebrows in the last few weeks when they jumped into a number 25 ranking in the AP College Football poll. Fast forward to the last week, the Panthers were jumped by Texas A&M and were not in the current standings for the playoffs. Notre Dame, who is currently ranked by the playoff committee at number 5, cannot afford to lose a single game after their single loss to Clemson.

Expect QB DeShone Kizer ($7,200, 21.8 FPPG) to run almost as much as last week, although he will likely try delegating those responsibilities to RB CJ Prosise ($7,400, 29.1 FPPG). WR Will Fuller ($6,000, 22.2 FPPG) will be alive and well down field, ready to rush a touchdown or two.

Central Florida Knights (0-9) @Tulsa Golden Hurricanes (4-4)

Tulsa QB Dane Evans ($7,400, 23.5 FPPG) made an interesting switch to a run game last week after being forced to give up on his ineffective attempts to connect with receivers through the air. UCF is in the bottom 15% of passing defenses in the FBS, so we can expect Evans to make a booming return to his passing game. As a result, WR Keyarris Garrett ($6,800, 25.4 FPPG) will make no shortage of plays against a forgiving Knights defense.

Texas Tech Red Raiders (5-4) @West Virginia Mountaineers (3-4)

The West Virginia Mountaineers got off to a strong 3-0 start this season, but are currently on a four-game losing streak. Make no mistake, Texas Tech, who notoriously has little to no pulse on defense, put big offensive numbers in the stat books, game after game... win or lose. QB Patrick Mahomes II ($7,600, 36.0 FPPG) passed for a season-high 480 yards last week, despite losing to Oklahoma State 70-53. Mahomes put 47.8 fantasy points up on the board. His most favored target, Jakeem Grant ($6,500, 26.0 FPPG) made season-high records as well, completing 13 passes. RB Deandre Washington ($5,500, 22.6 FPPG) was responsible for a 100 yard kick-return last week, and for the price, you can't afford not to draft him. West Virginia could still take the win, but probably making signifigantly less plays to put up points.

Arkansas Razorbacks (4-4) @Ole Miss Rebels (7-2)

The logic here is that if Ole Miss can beat Alabama Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa, they can certainly beat Arkansas in Mississippi. QB Chad Kelly ($6,700, 26.5 FPPG) will do plenty of rushing around, and WR LaQuon Treadwell ($6,700, 23.0 FPPG) is becoming synonymous with SEC success.

Florida State Seminoles (7-1) @Clemson Tigers (8-0)

Florida State may very well have a quarterback controversy on their hands, so you may want to wait for an announcement before you select back-up Sean Maguire, or first-string Everett Golson, who suffered a concussion in their only loss to Georgia Tech two weeks ago. Either quarterback likely won't put up as many fantasy points as Clemson QB Deshaun Watson ($7,900, 27.4 FPPG), who racked up 54 rushing yards last week. FSU does know how to stop a run game, though, so expect WR Artavis Scott ($5,800, 13.4 FPPG) to see a little more action than usual.

South Carolina Gamecocks (3-5) @Tennessee Volunteers (4-4)

South Carolina doesn't have an incredible record, but the five losses they suffered were won with no shortage of dignity. Tennessee doesn't typically take beatings at home, and they also don't lay down for lesser polished opponents like the Gamecocks. RB Jaelen Hurd ($6,300, 21.1 FPPG) actually made a big defensive splash last week against Kentucky, when he spotted a linebacker going in for the blitz on QB Joshua Dobbs ($8,000, 25.7 FPPG) as he launched the longest pass of his career (75 yards) in the game-winning touchdown. Tennessee will have plenty more tricks up their sleeves as they take the win Saturday afternoon.
