Week 7 is just another page in the history books. Eddie Lacy was on a bye so he couldn't disappoint yet again, but we still had plenty of notable performances that demand context and further investigation. Again, we're not here to talk about how good Julio Jones is or how much Nick Foles stinks.

Without further ado, here are those players who saw their stock take a real hit.

Week 8 Fantasy Football Fallers

Matt Jones – RB, WAS

Don't worry, this could be Alfred Morris too. Morris had six rushes for five yards and a two-yard reception. However, this is about the guy who really squandered an opportunity. Chris Thompson was out and Morris was coming off of a terrible game (and clearly continued to be terrible). All reports said Matt Jones was poised for a lot of work against an awful Tampa Bay defense. While it isn't entirely fair to judge Jones for his performance, as some of the blame is the O-line as well as the Redskins' defense allowing the game to get outrageously out of hand, Jones still did nothing of note all game. 29 yards on nine carries and three catches for 22 yards. Go crazy, folks. This was Jones' real chance to show what he could do and give himself the best chance at taking the lion's share of the carries in that backfield moving forward, and that just didn't happen.

Jordan Cameron - TE, MIA

I think everyone knows that Jimmy Graham's stock is very low compared to the preseason value that he had, so one can only pick on him so many times. Let's turn to a guy who still has a 72% ownership and managed to do worse than Graham this week, Jordan Cameron. Cameron wasn't able to get in on the scoring party that Miami hosted on Sunday, and he has yet to post a 10+ point game according to Fleaflicker's default scoring. Week 6 was his only game with a touchdown. Week 7 had him go backwards with only two targets, both of which he caught for 23 yards. Even though Cameron clearly has a ton of talent, the Dolphins just don't seem like they're using him enough to warrant consideration as a TE1 right now.

Carlos Hyde – RB, SF

Carlos Hyde has reports of a stress fracture in his foot being thrown around, and he responded to sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson's question regarding if he had a stress fracture with "something like that". Going against the strong Seahawks front wasn't going to solve anything. Hyde came off the field in pain again this week, after also having clear instances of foot pain in past weeks. It seems like rest is the only real answer, but the question if the 10 day layoff between games will be enough to get him going again, or if he needs to be properly shelved for a few weeks. If the 49ers don't start winning soon, there doesn't seem to be much of an argument for continuing to play a less than 100% Hyde. Hyde owners should be aware, and other owners should not be looking to buy low.

Rashad Jennings – RB, NYG

Rashad Jennings was already part of a committee with Andre Williams and Shane Vereen coming into Week 7, and with some more lackluster play, Giants' HC Tom Coughlin inserted a fourth running back into the mix. Orleans Darkwa only rushed eight times, but he gained 48 yards (6 yards per carry) and scored a touchdown. Darkwa ran strong, busting through a tackle attempt by Greg Hardy. Darkwa led the Giants in carries, and there's no reason to think that Darkwa won't get a chance to continue to build on his momentum. Jennings' value takes a huge hit with this development, as a four running back committee leaves little room for anyone to provide much value at all.

Golden Tate - WR, DET

Matthew Stafford certainly looks to have turned a corner in 2015, finally performing up to a decent standard. Unfortunately, it doesn't look as though he's taken Tate with him to that next level yet. Tate still got six targets, but finished with only two receptions for 14 yards. Next week the Lions get to face the horrid Chiefs' secondary before they head into their bye week. If Tate struggles to provide even a decent floor for owners, it'd be difficult to view him as a reliable option heading into the second half of the season.

Jordan Matthews - WR, PHI

Jordan Matthews has reportedly been dealing with a ligament injury in his hand that he suffered three weeks ago, though this hardly excuses his year long performance of dropped balls and general ineffectiveness. He's been dropping the football since Week 1, but he was still doing enough to generate some value for owners. Matthews' play has been trending downwards all year long, and he honestly looks like one of the Monstars from Space Jam zapped his skills. His owners have to hope that he gets over these yips quickly, and that during this bye week he can put it all together again.

Mike Wallace - WR, MIN

It really just looks like Teddy Bridgewater and Mike Wallace cannot get anything consistently going between them. Wallace saw five targets (compared to Stefon Diggs' nine), which he turned into four catches for 36 yards. The chemistry is seriously lacking between quarterback and receiver here. With the clear connection between Bridgewater and Diggs, Wallace looks to be locked in as the WR2 for Minnesota. Luckily, Charles Johnson has been extremely underwhelming when he's been on the field, so it isn't as though Wallace's playing time is threatened in any way. Still, owners are going to want to see some production before comfortably inserting him into fantasy lineups.

Isaiah Crowell - RB, CLE

The Browns seem like they'll need to be up for Crowell to see the field. He only rushed eight times against a stout Rams front, gaining nine yards. Duke Johnson got the bulk of the work, and he was rather effective. Johnson rushed six times for 17 yards and caught all seven of his targets for 73 yards. The Browns were behind early thanks to the Rams defense, so the run was abandoned pretty quickly. Unfortunately for Crowell, it looks as though this could happen more often than not. It is hard to view Crowell as a reliable play, whereas Duke Johnson's stock continues to rise as he asserts himself as a serious receiving option.
