Daily Fantasy College Football - DraftKings CFB DFS Picks for 10/10 (early)

Going into Week 6 in College Football, try not to let your passions or bias in many of the upcoming rivalry games deplete your bank account. Just as a losing team with more play-making components to their offense can produce more fantasy points than their victors who can ride 3rd and 4th downs into the endzone, remember to stay savvy about which actual athletes have a concentrated probability to get more opportunities to celebrate in the endzone.

The name of the game this week is conference games. Expect to see lots of trick plays on more polished offensive lines in an effort to throw opposing teams off their scent (or tapes, for that matter). As a result, now is as good of a time as any for that sleeper you've been keeping in your back pocket to have a break-out game.

Eye on the prize, fantasy owners. The only way to improve your radar for talented fantasy prospects is to take a gamble on the ones that you have substantial faith in. Experience is the best teacher, however virtual that experience might be.

DraftKings CFB Lineup Picks - Fantasy College Football (Week 6)

Baylor Bears (4-0) @Kansas Jayhawks (0-4)

Kansas is still looking for that first win of the season, and it doesn't look like they will find one at home on Saturday. Their opponent, the Baylor Bears, is a 40-point favorite, and more interestingly, probably the most productive team in fantasy sports all-together at the current time. Kansas will do nothing to stop them, as the Jayhawks have allowed over 534 points per game this season and are ranked 121 in total defense out of 127 teams. Baylor's opponent last week, Texas Tech, is the only power-5 school ranked lower than Kansas in that category. However, they had the dire task of facing two of the top three offensive schools in the country in the last five weeks.

That being said, count on Baylor QB Seth Russell ($9,300, 40.6 FPPG) to make all of your fantasy dreams come true. While pricey, Baylor's athletes will be a hard line-up to go against with lesser athletes. WR Corey Coleman ($7,900, 40.6 FPPG) is Russell's favorite target in their passing game, but if you're looking to fill in some of the salary gaps, WR Jay Lee ($5,900, 21.1 FPPG) will pull his weight on your roster. For the cost, you may be silly not to. Use that extra grand or two to select RB Shock Linwood ($7,400, 25.9 FPPG) who totaled 37.1 fantasy points against Texas Tech last week.

Maryland Terrapins (2-3) @Ohio State Buckeyes (5-0)

Many spectators declare that Ohio State is lately riding the fence between winning and losing and find it inexcusable in what many consider to be a "lesser conference" like the big 10. Make no mistake, if Ohio State does stand to lose a game this season, it won't be this weekend when they host Maryland. Despite Maryland outgunning Ohio State defensively, that won't be enough to help them run-up any kind of a lead.

QB Cardale Jones has been a bit of a fantasy bust thus far, especially because of the negative points earned in turnover-causing plays. Pricey RB Ezekiel Elliot likely won't get his usual numbers on the ground due to Maryland's slightly efficient defense, so expect talented QB-turned-WR Braxton Miller ($4,500, 9.3 FPPG) to have a breakout game in terms of fantasy numbers, assuming that Jones can made adequate contact with intended receivers. However, it offers plenty of comfort that we know head coach Urban Meyer is not afraid to break out back-up QB JT Barrett, but that presents another reason not to bank on Jones for this match-up.

Oklahoma Sooners (4-0) @Texas Longhorns (1-4)

Although Texas has showed glimmers of hope in close games against teams like the Cal Bears and Oklahoma State this season, one can only hope that the Longhorns have been practicing their graceful-loser faces. Despite the Oklahoma Sooners' lack of need for an efficient running-back this season, RB Samaje Perine ($6,700, 15.5 FPPG) will likely get a chance to flex on the field and make runs that are reminiscent of the previous seasons successes he's had. That being said, the Sooners' new air-raid offense only means plenty of action for WR Durron Neal ($3,900, 11.5 FPPG). Neal has been a lesser utilized reciever than teammates (WR) Sterling Shepherd ($6,200, 18.0 FPPG) and (WR) Dede Westbrooke ($4,500, 13.1 FPPG), but for the very slim margin of difference in probable points, he has a very managable salary and will likely crush his previous numbers against Texas.

Navy Midshipmen (4-0) @Notre Dame Fighting Irish (4-1)

Notre Dame showed their ability to tame and defeat the triple-option when they out-did Georgia Tech with their second string QB Deshone Kizer ($6,200, 17.7 FPPG). Although Navy QB Keenan Reynolds ($7,000, 32.6 FPPG) shows signifigantly better numbers on a fantasy scale, it should be noted that his scores are a product of running the ball 20+ times a game, which he may be discouraged to do against a dangerous Notre Dame D-line. If you're looking for economical sleeper picks, Reynolds will likely utilize play-action with RB Chris Swain ($4,400, 16.3) and inevitably be forced into some more passes, making WR Thomas Wilson ($3,000, 9.7 FPPG) a constructive gamble.

If you're steady on fantasy cash, bank on Notre Dame WR Will "Big Play" Fuller ($6,500, 23.6 FPPG), who saw minimal action against Clemson last week and will be aching to not only make the reception but continue his pattern of picking up yards after catch. Notre Dame RB CJ Prosise's ($7,600, 32.6) numbers will continue to shame athletic running backs everywhere, as he outperforms most athletes even in his less-productive games. Notre Dame will surely take the win.
