NFL Wide Receiver Rankings: Week 11 Fantasy Football

Zach Wilkens analyzes fantasy football wide receiver rankings for Week 11 of the NFL season in both PPR and standard leagues. Check his WR ranks and rankings analysis before setting your Week 11 lineups.

RotoBaller brings you our Week 11 fantasy football wide receiver rankings by authors Zach Wilkens (@LopsidedTrades) and Ryan Rufe (@RyanRufe), along with wide receiver rankings analysis by Zach Wilkens.

Week 11 Wide Receiver Rankings Analysis

There are several elite options at WR this week. It was nice to see Julio Jones bounce back with a strong performance, and there is no reason that can't continue the rest of the season.

The same goes for with Calvin Johnson-- start both with confidence. On the other hand, Antonio Brown fumbled twice last week, though I can't think of a reason to worry. He's elite and still setting a record for consecutive games with five catches for 50 yards.

Brandon Marshall dealt with an ankle issue late in last week's games, so pay attention to his practice reports this week. He'd fall quite a bit if he'll be limited. I've come around on T.Y. Hilton, but he should be blanketed by Revis this week. It will be very interesting to see how handles that. Considering that I still have him at WR11, he's a must-start.  On the other end of that game, I expect LaFell or Gronk to see Vontae Davis coverage, which should allow Julian Edelman to have another nice game; likewise, Reggie Wayne should have a nice game if he avoids a lot of Revis.

I've bought hard on the Sanchez-Jordan Matthews connection. Having him at WR22 this week is on the far end, but man did they look great last week. Matthews is one of many fantastic rookie WRs who can definitely play at a high level. Other notable rookies: Odell Beckham and Martavis Bryant.  I'm a bit low on each of them this week.

The 49ers are a tough matchup, and though OBJ just outplayed Richard Sherman, I expect teams to start to double-cover him, especially with Randle doing a whole lot of nothing. With Martavis Bryant, his performance last week was saved by an 80-yard score in garbage time. The touchdown rate will slow down, and when it does, he'll be nothing more than a first-year FLEX option.

Stevie Johnson has caught 31 of 39 targets on the season. That ranks second among all WRs with at least 30 targets. It baffles me that he doesn't see the field more. He had 18 snaps this past week, catching all three of his targets for 43 yards. Meanwhile Brandon Lloyd saw 21 snaps without a target, and Michael Crabtree caught just three of eight (though his final catch was a big play that allowed the 49ers to send the game into overtime). I've got a feeling they'll start to implement Stevie Johnson more this week. The Giants have a banged-up secondary, so the matchup looks good on paper.

A final note: just one more week until Josh Gordon returns! He'll be a top-10 play for me immediately. If you can get him for anything outside a top-10 WR or RB, do it. Good luck in Week 11 RotoBallers!
