MLB Prop Bets - Today's Home Run Prop Picks (6/22/2026)
Kyle Schwarber OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+250, Hard Rock)
I'd almost consider it base treachery to this article if I DIDN'T headline it with Kyle Schwarber, given the way he's been bombing the ball lately. The mighty Phillies lefty has four homers and nine RBI over his last two games, and he now sits at 26 long balls on the year. Betting on him to homer when he's barreling this way seems to be smart money, and I also just put a small bet on him for National League MVP at +3000 (DraftKings).

Schwarber is always going to be a risk of striking out too much, especially against a lefty, where his K rate is 33% this year. This is amplified a touch as Nationals pitcher Foster Griffin has an above-average 28% K rate against same-handed hitters. That said, Schwarber is still barreling southpaws at a 21.9% rate (highest on the Phillies by far) and has a 1.036 OPS and a .339 ISO against them (also highest on the team by far).
The Nationals' bullpen is also well below average, ranking 24th in ERA (4.62) with a closer-by-committee group. Schwarber should have nine full innings of upside in this one, and the wind is currently blowing straight out to center with temps in the mid-80s.
Jackson Chourio OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+350, Hard Rock)
Picking which Brewer to write about was a brutal choice, as the team has an IRT of 5.7 runs and is facing Brady Singer, who has been throwing batting practice for hitters this year (especially at home). The Reds righty has a 5.32 ERA, 1.61 WHIP, and a .245 ISO while only striking out 13.1% of batters at Great American Ball Park. Also, the wind is blowing straight out to center field.
Ultimately, Jackson Chourio's recent batted-ball rate, coupled with Singer's splits against same-handed hitters, was the deciding factor here. Chourio's 18.2% barrel rate against righties is the highest on the Brewers, and he has a .405 wOBA and a .226 ISO against RHP since the beginning of last year. He's found his power stroke lately, bringing his HR total up to ten and his OPS to .896.
Singer has been battered by RHB this season, allowing a 41.1% HHR and a .254 ISO while only striking out 11.2% of right-handed bats. Doing a two-player parlay with any of the Brewers' power lefties is a worthy move today as well, but getting Chourio at +350 here seems like pretty solid odds.
