The weather looks to be mostly clear across the league, with the possible exception of Rays-White Sox in Chicago. There are plenty of high-upside hurlers on the bump today, which should mean a strong slate for K props.

Elite K Upside: High-Confidence Strikeout Picks
Cole Ragans OVER 6.5 strikeouts (-143 Novig)
Ragans has been one of the best strikeout pitchers in baseball since his breakout with Kansas City. Since the beginning of the 2024 season, he owns an elite 31.5% strikeout rate and 14.7% swinging-strike rate.
His last start was derailed when he took a line drive off his pitching hand in the first inning. Ragans tried to pitch through the incident, but ultimately was removed from the game after the next two batters reached base.
Ragans looked to be in elite form before the liner struck him, whiffing each of the first two batters to start the game. He was also coming off a dazzling outing against Minnesota, when he struck out eight Twins across six innings. The lefty should be back to full strength tonight against the Tigers.
Nolan McLean OVER 5.5 strikeouts (-102 Novig)
Mets phenom Nolan McLean has been as advertised in his short time in the big leagues. He has been brilliant through three starts this season, after bursting onto the scene with eight excellent starts at the end of last season.
The rookie has racked up at least six strikeouts in nine of his 11 career big league starts, posting a 30.6% strikeout rate in the process. He threw 100 pitches in his most recent outing, with eight strikeouts against Arizona.
Tonight, he gets a brutal matchup against the Dodgers, but the youngster hasn't backed down from any challenge he has faced so far. The Dodgers have been baseball's best offense so far this season, but they do rank just 15th in strikeouts against right-handed pitching.
If McLean can limit the damage and make it through five innings, he has a great chance to beat his K prop tonight.
