Los Angeles Clippers forward Nicolas Batum (rest) will be inactive against the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday. With Kawhi Leonard (ankle) returning to the lineup, the Clippers will take the opportunity to rest Batum. The French veteran averages about 12 minutes a night, and the team shouldn't have any trouble managing without him. We will likely see Batum back in the lineup on Thursday when the Clippers and Pelicans meet again at the Smoothie King Center.--Taavi Pailk
