I'm not one to throw around the term "generation prospect" often, but it 100% applies to a prospect like Konnor Griffin. The 2024 first-round pick put together a season for the ages in the minor leagues last season, racking up 48 extra-base hits, 21 home runs, and 65 steals with a .333/.415/.527 slash line in 122 games across three levels. Griffin reached Double-A as a 19-year-old and slashed .337/.418/.542 at the level against much older and more experienced competition. And even though he was being pushed up levels at a young age, Griffin was still able to improve his contact and approach metrics as the season wore on while showcasing his elite speed and big-time power. We're not just talking about a future all-star caliber player here with Griffin. We're talking about someone who has the skills to be one of the best fantasy players in the game. Even if he's not up on opening day, Griffin should be up by the All-Star break at the latest.--Eric Cross
