After back-to-back years of a low average and more than 20 home runs, Shea Langeliers finally put it all together in 2025. In 523 plate appearances, Langeliers slashed .277/.325/.536 with 73 runs scored, 31 home runs, 72 RBI, and even seven steals for good measure. Every metric from that sentence was a new career high except for the RBI total. You can credit most of Langelier's career year to improvements he made in the contact and approach departments. Langelier's quality of contact remained both above-average and in line with previous seasons, but he made exponential gains elsewhere, increasing his contact rate by 4.1%, his zone contact rate by 3.7%, and his strikeout rate by a whopping 7.5%. If these gains stick in 2026, Langeliers could post another Top-5 season at the catcher spot, cementing his elite status.--Eric Cross
