What is Novig?
Novig is one of the fastest-growing peer-to-peer sports prediction markets. On Novig, users trade directly with each other, without the "vig" typically associated with a sportsbook. The vig is the fee sportsbooks charge you to use their services. It's a hidden cost that can be found in the odds that are being offered on each side of a specific bet. When a book offers -110 odds on both sides of a bet, they're keeping close to 10% of every bettor's wager, regardless of whether you win or lose.
On Novig, users trade with each other on the outcomes of sporting events, similarly to the way that investors trade on the stock market. But instead of having to beat the books, you just have to win against other users -- there's no commission kept by the site.
Users can bet on most traditional sports markets, including moneyline bets, spreads, totals, tournament matchups, player props, parlays, and futures!
Novig operates with two virtual currencies. Novig coins can be wagered for fun and to test out strategies, while Novig cash can be wagered on all markets and then redeemed for real cash prizes.
Access to Novig is widespread; it's now accessible in 36 U.S. states.
How Does Novig Work?
Since users are not playing against the books, there is an opportunity to make more money per wager that you win, and users can usually find better values on bets (in terms of the prices being offered) than on traditional sportsbooks.
There are no oddsmakers; users dictate their own odds. You can either accept the odds that the market is offering or set your own odds.
If you set your own odds, another user has to accept them on the other side for the bet to be activated.
Users drive the market, not the sportsbook or oddsmakers!

Jake Knapp OVER Ben Griffin (+113 at Novig)
We went a stress-free 2-0 in matchups in this article last week, and I'm going right back to the well with Jake Knapp, a player that easily secured a win for us over Michael Thorbjornsen at Pebble Beach.
The challenge is much tougher this week, as Ben Griffin is certainly no slouch. However, I love the value we're getting with Knapp at +113 on Novig, as he's quietly been one of the hottest players on the planet to start 2026. Last week's T8 at Pebble marked Knapp's fourth consecutive finish of T11-or-better. He's now gained strokes T2G in all of four of his starts this year. As for Griffin, he's been able to patch together respectable results as of late, despite losing strokes OTT in each of his last three starts.
Riviera will put ball-striking ability to the test this week, and I'll side with the red-hot Knapp in that department.
Ryo Hisatsune OVER Corey Conners (+110 at Novig)
Another very live dog available at Novig, as my projections show that the rising Japanese superstar, Hisatsune, should actually be a slight favorite in this matchup against Corey Conners.
While I've long been a Conners truther, the Canadian simply hasn't been himself to this point in 2026. With elite ball-striking long his calling card, Conners has struggled to find the groove recently, and has actually lost strokes both on Approach and T2G in each of his last two starts. In addition to his slumping recent form, Conners has never found any success at Riviera, cracking the top-25 just once in five career appearances at Riv.
While Hisatsune has zero experience at Riviera, his current form has been the opposite of Conners. He's been red hot as of late, and that run continued with a T8 finish at Pebble Beach last week. Hisatsune has now reeled off three consecutive top-10 finishes across his last three starts, while gaining an average of nearly six strokes T2G per outing.

PGA Finishing Position Props

Harris English TOP 10 FINISH (+326 at Novig)
I'm not here to argue that Harris English is the most exciting golfer on Tour, but he's a seasoned pro who consistently produces strong results. That's been the case at Riviera for the veteran, as he's gone T12-7th in his last two appearances at the iconic L.A. layout.
English comes into the week flying under the radar, but stringing together rock-solid finishes in 2026. All four of his starts this year have produced results of T28-or-better, and he's gained strokes OTT in every outing of 2026. The Top-10 market can often produce some out-of-whack odds, but English is one of the few players on the board who is popping as a positive value for me, as his +326 number at Novig is superior to what you'll find at both DraftKings (+300) and FanDuel (+290).
Maverick McNealy WINNER (+4248 at Novig)
As long as Mav continues to play at the level he shown in recent starts, I'll continue to chase the value available at Novig, where he's a tiny bit juicier than his DK (+4000) and FD (+4000) numbers. The California native has been the picture of consistency to this point in 2026, gaining 2.5-or-more strokes T2G in every start, while logging four finishes inside the top 30.
His Riviera history isn't extensive, but a T7 finish in the 2022 Genesis in one of his two pro starts at the legendary course is intriguing. McNealy grew up putting on the type of Poa annua greens that he'll see this week, and his statistical consistency in every facet tells me that he's due for a breakout sooner rather than later.
