What is Novig?
Novig is one of the fastest-growing peer-to-peer sports prediction markets. On Novig, users trade directly with each other, without the "vig" typically associated with a sportsbook. The vig is the fee sportsbooks charge you to use their services. It's a hidden cost that can be found in the odds that are being offered on each side of a specific bet. When a book offers -110 odds on both sides of a bet, they're keeping close to 10% of every bettor's wager, regardless of whether you win or lose.
On Novig, users trade with each other on the outcomes of sporting events, similarly to the way that investors trade on the stock market. But instead of having to beat the books, you just have to win against other users -- there's no commission kept by the site.
Users can bet on most traditional sports markets, including moneyline bets, spreads, totals, tournament matchups, player props, parlays, and futures!
Novig operates with two virtual currencies. Novig coins can be wagered for fun and to test out strategies, while Novig cash can be wagered on all markets and then redeemed for real cash prizes.
Access to Novig is widespread; it's now accessible in 36 U.S. states.
How Does Novig Work?
Since users are not playing against the books, there is an opportunity to make more money per wager that you win, and users can usually find better values on bets (in terms of the prices being offered) than on traditional sportsbooks.
There are no oddsmakers; users dictate their own odds. You can either accept the odds that the market is offering or set your own odds.
If you set your own odds, another user has to accept them on the other side for the bet to be activated.
Users drive the market, not the sportsbook or oddsmakers!

Shane Lowry OVER JJ Spaun (+107 at Novig)
I'm always searching for live dogs, and I like how Shane Lowry projects in this matchup. With his last start on American soil coming in August, the Irishman has been out-of-sight, out-of-mind for most U.S. golf fans (and oddsmakers). Though his 2025 campaign was a forgettable one, Lowry did show some form during his international outings this fall and early this year, scoring a T3 at the Dubai Invitational and a T26 Hero Dubai Desert Classic in his most recent 2026 starts.
Conversely, Spaun put together a career-best year in 2025, but has yet to kick on in two 2026 appearances. Last year's U.S. Open champion managed just a T40 at the Sony last month and missed the cut in the Farmers in his most recent outing - losing strokes with his irons for the second consecutive start.
Recency bias might tell us Spaun is the golfer in better form at the moment, but I would actually tilt that in Lowry's favor, while the big Irishman also recorded a runner-up result in his most recent trip to Pebble Beach.
Jake Knapp OVER Michael Thorbjornsen (-101 at Novig)
Strictly a value play here, as you'll find Knapp at -120-125ish in most spots around the industry for this matchup. Thorbjornsen is undoubtedly a rising star, and he made a big splash with a T3 last week at the WM Phoenix Open. However, I think this Pebble Beach layout will throttle back his biggest weapon by largely taking driver out of his hand this week.
Knapp has a similar booming profile off the tee, but has proven himself to be a well-rounded player during his rise up the PGA Tour ranks. He posted a T33 in his ATT Pebble Beach debut last year and has finished T11-or-better in all three of his 2026 starts on three very different golf courses in Waialae, Torrey Pines, and TPC Scottsdale.

PGA Finishing Position Props
All odds are from Novig and were accurate as of 2/10/2026
Maverick McNealy WINNER (+4248 at Novig)
Sporting outright odds of +3000 at FanDuel and +2900 at DraftKings, Mav's Novig odds of nearly +4300 stands out as very enticing. The California native literally grew up at Pebble Beach with a house on the course, and his track record in this event reflects that familiarity, as he holds a career scoring average of 69.83, with a pair of top-five finishes in the ATT Pro-Am.
McNealy's ultimate finish of T13 last week in Phoenix doesn't do justice to how well he truly played in the WMPO. He entered the final round just one stroke off the lead with a very real chance of winning the tournament. Knocking on the door has been a common theme for the Stanford alum, who has recorded four finishes of T3-or-better in the past calendar year. This Pebble Beach layout where he's so comfortable profiles as a nice spot for a breakthrough victory.
Jason Day WINNER (+6150 at Novig)
J-Day is floating around at around +4000 at most books, so I'll happily click the veteran here at +6150. The Aussie has been right at home in previous visits to Pebble Beach, recording a staggering NINE top-seven finishes across 15 career starts in this event.
We aren't just playing on the nostalgia factor with the 38-year-old, as his AT&T success didn't come in some far-away era. In his 10 Pebble Beach starts since 2015, Day hasn't finished outside of the top-25 once.
In addition to his world-class course history, Day's game has shown some sparks of life recently. He's just over two weeks removed from a runner-up finish at the AmEx - an event where he gained 2.7 strokes on Approach. His irons remained white hot in a subsequent outing at Torrey Pines, where he gained an eye-opening 4.3 strokes APP.
